Driven by a natural curiosity about animals, Shen Han conducted research on bird taxonomy under the MOE Science Research Programme. His project earned a Gold award at the Singapore Science and Engineering Fair in March 2025 and led to the rare distinction of publishing and first-authoring a scientific research article in the international journal Avian Research in December 2025 while he was in JC2. Shen Han's journey - from 3D food printing with cricket proteins at SUTD to avian evolution research at NUS—exemplifies how RV creates opportunities for students to pursue their passions through diverse programmes. This holistic approach enables students to transform curiosity into meaningful contributions to our community and society, becoming changemakers ready to tackle global challenges. |
