Ng Qi Heng (22J18) (in a combined team with RI & SJI) [YDSP] Ng Qi Heng has been taking part in the Young Defence Scientists Programme’s (YDSP) aerodynamics programme every year since 2020. Last year, he submitted his self-initiated project on the re-design and optimisation of wings of autonomous drones. The project idea was adopted by engineers from DSO National Laboratories as a research project under YDSP. He also led two Sec 4 juniors from RGS and SJI to engineer the design of their drone, and helped the team win two engineering special awards.
